Character's Mental Disorder: Extreme Hallucinations
Anything else we should know about your character: When Ben was a child he was thrown off his horse at his father's estate in England, and though he seemed fine, when he awoke the world seemed changed. The trees were alive and the animals were speaking to him in English. This was the first time that Ben visited "Narnia". When he told his parents of this they dismissed it, thinking that it was just his imagination running rampant again. But when things didn't change as he got into his teenage years, they took him to a specialist who diagnosed him with having hallucinations.
When medication and therapy didn't seem to work for his hallucinations, Ben was sent to one of the finest psychiatric facilities in England, but that didn't last every long. The images in Ben's mind had gotten intense, and he spoke of wars and witches and conspiracy for hours. His parents, worried about their son's wellbeing, sent him to Rainy Day after he was caught brandishing a broom around like a sword and almost hurting another patient.
Ben is a smart and talented young man, and a lot of the time he seems fine. No one knows what triggers his hallucinations or why they get so bad, and they have yet to figure out a way of helping him. He is loyal and kind, and he enjoys the company of others, but he is skeptical of newcomers who might be on "the other side".
